The term “plate corals” refers to a collection of several different corals from the family Fungiidae. These corals are flat solitary corals and most of them take on a circular form. Though they are physically delicate, plate corals are considered to be pretty easy to keep. They prefer to live on the flat bottom of the tank with moderate lighting.
