They are a peaceful coral armed with the defensive capability of being able to retract or deflate each of their polyps in response to predation. They are the most common easy to keep corals within your marine saltwater reef aquarium. They are easy to maintain in the reef aquarium and require a medium to high light level combined with a medium to strong water movement within the aquarium. The experienced hobbyist cultures the colony by taking a cutting from their encrusting base.
Due to variations in species your item may not be identical to that featured in the image, we do however ensure the species is correct and that the markings and colours are very similar.
